Laura, Kevin, the Squadron Officers and BoD, thank you for your patience and understanding! We will all miss being together but our health is of utmost importance! I believe this crisis will end soon and we can all go about our daily lives and next year meet and be joyous!
That being said. Please ensure you cancel your hotel reservations 48 before. To make it easy, if you still intend on staying because you were planning to visit anyway then email the Hotel Manager, Stephanie Mora: firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know you are not canceling.
If you are canceling you can go to the link to “modify” your reservation from your confirmation email and click to “Cancel”. Or you can call. Or Stephanie is going to Cancel the whole block by Tuesday of next week.
All registration money will be reimbursed within the next few days unless otherwise indicated by you. All registration fees that are donated will go to the Pete Freeman Scholarship Fund so that we can once again support the education of our family members. Part of our funding for them is through our reunion auction and drink donations not to mention the generosity of our members and sponsors!! The only financial loss we will encounter is the hotel deposit of $1000. Once all is settled a full financial report can be provided.
We have communicated with all stakeholder parties (CNATT, vendors, transportation and accommodation hosts and venues) and they understand and are supportive of our cancellation decision.
Our many sponsors have been contacted and remain steadfast in their sponsorships they’ve provided this year. They will receive special advertising consideration for our soon-forthcoming newsletter, at future awardee presentation ceremonies and through our social media groups.
Planned award presentations will be conducted by Davis Squadron officers at a future occasion under separate correspondence.

Don Davis Squadron/ALM Colleagues, Here we are again in our final push and I’m leading it through our reunion registration deadline. As a gentle reminder, our MCAA Don E. Davis Squadron reunion is fast approaching. Our gathering this March 19th – 22nd in Jacksonville, NC at the Hilton Garden Inn and Marine Corps Air Station New River is sure to be a momentous event that rivals our Pensacola gig last year. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Gale Rodgers, Rob McCutcheon and LtCol Bill Slack (our host), it will include many of the traditions that our most seasoned members are accustom, with additions that involve the Assistant Deputy Commandant for Aviation as our Guest of Honor; our full participation stake with HQMC ASL, MALS-26 & 29 and the leadership participation of the Center for Naval Aviation & Technical Training (CNATT).
As with the past two reunions, we will be having a live and silent auction of items our members donate. So PLEASE consider donating a nice item for the auction. All proceeds will go to the Pete Freeman Scholarship Fund!

A block of rooms has been reserved for March 18, 2020 – March 22, 2020. Booking a reservation from our site is simple. To begin the process, click on the link “Book a Room”. BOOK EARLY!! – Room Rate: $96 per night; 1 King or 2 Queen, plus tax. (Kings are 312 sqft, Queens are 494 sqft) – Group Breakfast rate on site is a 50% discount at $5.95 plus tax.

After cut-off date hotel will release unreserved rooms for general sale and determine whether it can accept reservations based on space and rate available bases at the Client group rate.

Individuals can cancel their reservations up to 48 hours prior to arrival date with no penalty.
